Chonie is a free-spirited cat dictating her memoirs to her roommate Boswell and in the process, she begins to see how her uninhibited ways may be standing in the way of true love. Joining her in life in the alley are various characters--her best friend Mamie, fun and flirty but not hootchy, Nancy who is getting plastic surgery to look like Hello Kitty, and Pootie, a Russian blue.
